CardOnePlus closed?

Rumor that CardOnePlus has closed. They operate debit cards used by many sportsbooks, and a huge number of other private label debit cards.

Their website is unavailable at the moment. I'm unable to google up much of a confirmation.

Rumor claimed the closure is related to this:

CardOnePlus name is not mentioned in any of those documents, though NYCCU and Interac are frequently. I cannot google any relationship between CardOnePlus and CU-Connect.

I did google some information that CardOnePlus was apparently moving away from NYCCU to PACE Savings & Credit Union Ltd.

I don't know if the rumor is true, the fact the website is down makes it all the more annoying.

Dramatic news at this hour:

MasterCard international have served notice to merchant banks that they are SHUTTING OFF all ATM and POS traffic with respect to all card programs as of TODAY, FRIDAY 5th, at 3:00 p.m. EST.

Naturally, your card balance will not be lost - MasterCard will refund your funds directly to cardholders, perhaps by mail. (We will inform you as more information is available.)

It appears that you can still for now normally use ATMs - if you wish to, please do so before 2:30 PM EST.

you guys were speculating on a book that might be on the way down.

I have to ask you this. Is this book betchris? or was it Betus that was moving..(i noticed the topic was closed, not suprising that they would do such a thing on this forum.. Things like that help to remind one why this place is here) hint: not to protect usthe gamblers...

I don't recall speculating on anything.

CRIS is a solid and reputable shop, they're not going anywhere.

CRIS has said that they don't deal with CardOnePlus anymore, nor does BetJamaica, as of a month or so ago -- which is relevant to this thread.
